Something me and thomas both love love to do is share our thoughts and explain to those who think X, Y, Z about mormons. And with thomas being a Ward Missionary they challenged us and every one to set up a profile on mormon.org and we posted our profile.
Here's Thomas - http://mormon.org/me/55ZH/ThomasWalker/
Here's Mine - http://mormon.org/me/55SX/VanessaWalker/
If your lds, I highly encourage you to do one. Especially if your shy about talking about our religion. And if your not I highly encourage you to look through anything that comes to mind on the website.
I love who I am and how my family has grown because me and thomas choose this lifestyle that has blessed us so much.
Enjoy and were sending X-mas cards out soon and Isaiah school Pic please look through mail or send me your address if you want one.
Love Ya'll

Spunky N Crazy Carter
I try and take as many VIDEOS of Carter during the day because love seeing how fast he grows.
Plus he's well CRAZY lol
I love him anyways
Finally the Week is OVER!!!!
I have had an EXTREMELY DIFFICULT WEEK FUN BUT HARD.
Good Parts First -
I host a baby shower last night with another girl for a friend of ours who has 2 kids and 1 on the way to end of December Her Hubby has been hospitalized twice in the past 3 weeks. As any of us who have had health problems know its not easy especially on our loved ones. We decided to throw a DIAPER-WIPE only shower. Because we all KNOW we need them NO MATTER WHAT~!!With the help of over 17 women in our church/friends we were able to get her 5 boxes of diapers and 2 boxes of wipes. ALL Costco brand. It was an amazing turn out and I know she was grateful.
Secondly, Me and a good friend created a RHINESTONE SHIRT for the "breaking dawn" movie that we and a group of girls will go out to see. We are excited and I am more grateful for GOOD friends who have the same interest and NO DRAMA. he he
Now onto the difficult.
Isaiah's teacher has been absent off and on for almost 2 weeks and I think it set him back. As my kid is very onto CONSISTENCY. And now I know he can manipulate the situation if its not.
(Smart and Sneaky) Tues Isaiah was given 3 notices and later than day I received an email from the girls' mother" that Isaiah so innocently asked about her "arm hair". The mother had simply wanted to resolve the ISSUE. I called as soon as I saw the email, Locked my self in my room to avoid any crazy sounds from the boys. The convo as you can say was Ok. She had informed me that my son has been doing this for some time now and her daughter had spilled the beans. I had to apologize more than I felt I needed. And simply said"maybe my son likes your daughter" she does sit across from him! As I continued to let her know I do not condone teasing but simple my child is teasing in a flirting way. AS I feel I have to spin it in my head because I honestly DO NOT SEE ISAIAH AS THAT TYPE. I'll let you all know if that changes in a few years ha ha
I went on to my defense as a mother and said I believe Isaiah's teacher was under a lot of pressure as alot of makeup teaching and parent conference was this week, maybe Isaiah was just too much.
She explained her child didn't want to get Isaiah in trouble but just wants it to stop. I had to tell her I can do all I can to let him know it hurts her feeling and the rest is up to him.
I was so HAPPY TO BE OFF THE PHONE. YOU NEVER NEVER HOW crazy or over exaggerated parents can be. sheeeshhh
On thursday, Thomas took the day off golfed and I had shower errands to run. Carter decided to lock out bedroom door on the inside and shut the door luckily he was not inside. As it was morning and I had all PJs on I went to open the door and it was locked. I freaked attempted to pick my lock which was hilarious. Just to give some background as to WHERE WAS THE KEY THEY GAVE US???
you ready??
Thomas lost them the 1st week before WE MOVED IN.
So I was texting like crazy calling all friends and family who would know what to do. I knew in a couple of hours parent conference that day and I could NOT go in my PJS and not showered and all. So we picked up Thomas got home. Made our round of calls to landlord and handy man. A friend came over with clothes for me. (aren't we so blessed) any-who and as Thomas was in his car he hit his middle console and LOW AND BEHOLD THEY FELL OUT.
I was completely unhappy as he was carrying them to and fro for the past months and didn't even know. (wife complaining part he he)
but so so relieved as i wouldn't be needing to go un-showered and etc.
Parent Conference had its good and bad. Good first - Isaiah is at a 10 in reading maybe a 12 but will need to be at a 16 and even 20 for beginning of first grade. Math is great just needs to practice subtraction.
Onto the other - Behavior was not talked to much on (thank goodness) per the short time (30mins per child) Isaiah while the teacher was gone had pushed a friend off of his chair in class and was sent to principal office and given a notice to send home (i hadn't heard or received it).. not to happy.
I am looking forward to a family filled Thanksgiving and no school and no getting up early etc.
LONG POST I know but so need to get this all out. Much NEEDED.
Have a great weekend.

Thankful for:
Today I am thankful for PRAYER.
yes you hear it time and time again and still it waits for you to come to him..
Isaiah has been ESPECIALLY defiant at school. I am trying to decipher if it is A BOY BEHAVIOR or just HIM.
I was on my knee's this morning before everyone was awake just thanking GOD for some personal items I have been given. I took Isaiah to school stayed and helped in the classroom till 10:15 and picked him up at 12:40. Short day right. What mischief could he get in?????
1- Asking a girl why her arms were so hairy? OVER AND OVER TILL A PARENT INTERVENED TO STOP HIM
2- On the playground - (in teacher's word thru email) were playing 4 square, the ball
went to one child, the other one wanted it, and they began to tussle over
who would have the ball
3- Isaiah was given 2 notices to send home and ( in the teachers words )
" In response to these choices, I
wrote up 2 behavior notices, and had him do his behavior reflection page,
in addition to sitting and speaking with him about what had happened. Then
afterschool another teacher found these papers crumpled up and laying on
the ground outside. I am very disappointed to say the least."

Today has been a day where I wish Thomas was home with me to be able to deal with this but I guess I will have to wait another 3.5 more hours too.
There is nothing worse than having negative things said about your kid. I KNOW I DON'T LIVE IN A PERFECT WORLD WITH PERFECT CHILD. I KNOW I NEVER WILL
BUT I SURELY HOPE AT TIMES.
BLAH
THANKS FOR READING TO MY VENTING OF A MAMA. GRRRRR

Halloween
I am still trying NOT to get holiday crazy... I don't think it's working. We've had a great month. I can not believe it is November already. Boy, don't the years fly... I am OLD. ha ha
Isaiah has been quite the character in school. I am unsure how his personality is at school and then at home. Hmmm ... He was sent to the principal office a week ago because he was turning off and on the light in the boys bathroom - I was a little caught off guard why the principals' office. So I hear its a "safe issue".. I dunno what to make of it. Boys will be boys what can I say.?
Isaiah is becoming a better reader and I am impressed on how far he has come.
Carter is potty trained during the day I have officially started taking him to the store and out with a "big boy underwear". He only says "poo" and whether its number 1 or 2. Something is surely to come out. He started in August and its beginning of Nov. I think I am doing a great job and potty training ain't easy but I am glad the beginning is over with. We now have to work on naps and nighttime. That will take awhile since he is such a DEEP sleeper but for now.
Go ME.
Halloween was very fun here at the Walker house. I had added a couple of decor to festy it up here. Isaiah kept wondering why our house wasn't as decorated as some houses here were and all I could say is "OURS are better"
ha ha He would usually agree and just be excited for trick or treating. Isaiah school had a parade and I geared Carter up in his Indian Costume and Isaiah in his clone troopers and my boys were happy. I need to be better at making costumes. They can be so pricey..
Isaiah had a half day and it was so nice to have him home after that. We enjoyed a couple of trick or treater's at our place until Thomas came home from work (seemed like forever), we had scary music blasting on the iphone and I think the coolest pumpkin carving too. You decide for yourself!
Isaiah at school learned the end of trick or treat (smell my feet etc etc.)
and was saying that for the first couple of houses with his friends till someone commented and then I had to make sure he didn't say it again ha ha
We had a great Halloween and were had to have good school friends/ church friends to come along. We only went around our court area which was good enough for us. On the walk home we turned it into a family jog and ran in our costumes and with our candies. We probably looked like a family that stole or robbed someone but it was a great workout.
