Carter's 2nd Birthday.

It's a been a crazy wonderful month and I am finally have a little time to blog. We are finally going to start celebrating birthdays in CA and see family with out them driving over to us that is 11+ hrs. It's a great help and joy to see close friends and family join together to celebrate and an occasion. This weather has been unpredictable and luckily all my prayers were answered when it was Carter's Party at a park one Saturday afternoon.

We had a great turn out and lots of family and friends came. Carter's party was a dinosaur theme and with great help from a good friend/ neighbor we made the best cake and it was delicious.. Enjoy. Families are forever and there is something so so wonderful about knowing that. Enjoy the pictures. Can't believe my baby is 2. WOW

Height: 34 1/2 inches (50% percentile)

Weight 26lbs (10-25% percentile)

an eye opener

HAVE YOU EVER HAD AN EVENT, A SMILE, A LOOK, A KISS, A CRY, A DEATH OF A LOVED ONE OR STRANGER THAT AFFECTED YOU IN SO MANY WAYS?

TODAY BEING CARTER 2ND BIRTHDAY. WHAT A BLESSING AND EYE OPENER THIS CHILD WAS FOR ME AND THOMAS IN SO SO MANY WAYS. KIDS MAKE YOU GROW UP MAKE YOU STRONGER AND MAKE YOU WEAK TO YOUR KNEES WITH THE SILLY THINGS THEY SAY OR HOW THEY SAY IT.

ISAIAH TODAY WANTED TO KNOW WHAT AN EARTHQUAKE AND I WENT STRAIGHT TO  YOUTUBE THE ALL ONLINE HOLDER OF EVENTS AND HE SAID HE DIDN'T LIKE THE ONES WITH THE CRYING AND SO MUCH NOISES. UNFORTUNATELY I HAD TO LET HIM KNOW "EARTHQUAKES MAKE ALOT OF NOISE" AND CAUSE ALOT OF CRYING IN SOME PEOPLE.
HE WAS AFRAID ALL DAY THAT THE WALLS WERE GOING TO QUAKE AND WHAT I WOULD DO IF IT WERE TO HAPPEN. THE INNOCENCE OF A CHILD MAKES LIKE SO HUMBLING BECAUSE BENEATH THE DEBT, EVIL WORLD, DEATHS , AND EVEN EARTHQUAKES; SOME THINGS AREN'T WORTH COMPLAINING OVER AND MAKES LOVING THE ONE NEXT TO YOU SO MUCH MORE. I LOVE MY FAMILY AND THE WAY MY 2 BOYS DRIVE ME UP THE WALL THAT I WANT TO PULL MY HAIR OUT. I PURSUE FORWARD WHEN SOCIETY TELLS ME HOW PROPORTIONATE MY BODY NEEDS TO BE OR MY HUSBAND WONT LOVE ME, HOW MY CHILDREN NEED TO NOT MAKE ONE SOUND AS I TAKE HOURS IN THE MALL OR HOW I NEED TO RAISE MY CHILDREN.

WITH ALL THE EVENTS AROUND ME MAKES 2 THINGS COME TO MIND:

BE PREPARED FOR A DISASTER AND LOVE LIKE YOU NEVER LOVED BEFORE...

LIFE IS JUST TO DARN SHORT TO FRET OVER THE LITTLE STUFF....

Life as we know it...

From Vaccuming with Carter, to homework, teaching a child to add, spell and read its quite exhausting but rewarding at the same time. Being a mother isn't easy but it's rewarding. I am glad to have my children with me than raised by someone else. Isaiah is enjoying his glasses and is reading little bits at a time. Carter is talking slowing but surely it will all go at once... Carter loves to wear his brother's lightening mcqueen helmet and loves to be at my side.Carter has made about 5 toilet times and it was sucessful. If he can't talk yet maybe potty training?? Who know's anything is possible... We've enjoyed lots of family time and the boys have loved being able to see cousins among cousins. I've learned how to knit 2 scarfs thanks to a good friend who just started going to our church and just happens to live in our apartments. I've had some good girl time that was much needed. I miss my girl nights that we've had in Arizona. :-(

I was just called to be in the RS Committee and it has been very fun. We are learning how to make cake balls and it looks so yummy and very easy. I heard of this website called http://www.bakerella.com/
