August / September

Well August is almost over and we are heading to September and will be in our NEW HOUSE. We are all so so excited. I think me the most because I am in the apartment all day and with Carter home with me now 7 1/2 hours in the day;More space for this little guy is a must. I will post more pictures once we get out keys which is tuesday. Legally we are not allowed to get them then and not be in the house but they trust us. :0)

Thursday and Friday, I will be painting as much as I can. I have a pretty navajo white (tanish/beige) and a mountain air (a very light blue for the bathrooms'). White walls in the Walker house is a no no and a massive clean for me. So in essence I do the work they pay for the paint. I will have several hands to help me paint and for that I am most grateful. The house is a 3bedroom and 2 bath, I am excited the boys will have there own rooms. A family and living room. ooo I am so excited... We also have a close park with huge soccer fields, baseball, water park and last of all Isaiah new school - which is WALKING distance. I have a first grader and he is so happy to be back in school. I miss him a ton, he is such a huge help/entertainer with Carter but I know he needs to spread his wings. (wipe tear ) Isaiah has a soft - spoken teacher and he enjoys her so far.

For those who live in the Bay Area, we had a little earthquake last week which FREAKED me out and reminded me the possibilities of California again.

Any who we had a great summer with beach trips and lot's of pool time. Carter is my brown baby and water baby. I love it. Isaiah now can swim with a noodle or paddle board and doesn't freak out too much. Isaiah can swim from pool side if I force him and makes it thru but he pants like crazy and will take some time for perfection. he he

 In front of his school.

 Such a big boy.

July Activites.

So for those who don't know but I am on the Relief Society Committee and we've been busy monthly and having a a blast doing activities. One of the activities we didn't have to assemble was the Heritage Picnic at the Fairgrounds. One of the many things I love to do is spend time with my family which includes my hubby too.  Carter was all over the place and had fun with the little people. July seemed to by a lot warmer than right now. And me and the boys were at the pool almost every day for 2-3 hours. It was a blast and be one thing I miss when we move into the casa. We occasionally had visitors and that was fun too.

Happy July Month.

One of our visitors we had. Was my best-est friend in the world. This is Tyler and Isaiah. They did legos.
This is my and Ashley, I've known her since 7th grade. They came down and we a great convo.

So far...

We have long over due our life on going ons. For our anniversary we had the Hall Family who live an hour or so away ( old friends from AZ )  come down and watch the boys. Me and Thomas had a blast at a near by Fondue Restaurant. Then headed to see Transformers. We had a great wife and husband time.

During the month of July, I knew our lease was soon to be up in Sept. So I started my venture of a possibility of a house rental. Anyone knowing where we live its IMPOSSIBLE to find a house in our budget. I literally told EVERYONE in my ward, mass emailed old friends on FB and in my address directory to keep an ear out for us.

On one committee meeting I had on Sunday a friend had brought up that a friend of hers was moving out in mid aug and its a 3 bedroom and 2 bath. I was excited but skeptical. I kept it in the back of my mind and continued my venture. I prayed all the time. Then another meeting we had she had said that she let her friends land lord my info and I was excited more. But I still had to lead no info nor a clinch this could work. Then one friday play date I had a friend tell me go and see the house and maybe they will be there, so I could get the land lord's info.
I shortly left went to the house and NO ONE WAS THERE. I was so sad but had a feeling go ask a neighbor. I went to the left house not knowing what would happen. A lady by the name of Ester answered and I told her I was looking for a house on the block that might be renting she pointed to the house I went to and said that was it. She said she would give me the neighbor for the landlord. She didn't have it with her but said she would call me once she got it. Right as I was walking up my apt stairs a number called and I knew it was here. She had the number and I thanked her a TON. I quickly left a message on this number I had no idea what would happen. Make a long long story short. We ended up meeting with the Realtor that weekend, she feel in love with our whole family. And we got the house!!!!
I am eternally greatly for the faith I had,for the persistence I had to get our family one step further to our potential. I don't think Thomas and I know how exciting this will be once we move in next month. We will finally have NO STAIRS, NO MARIJUANA NEIGHBOR' AND A BACKYARD FOR MY BOYS TO PLAY.
